Travel is personal.
Recommendations should be too.
Roametry was created around a simple idea: the best destination isn’t necessarily the most popular one. It’s the place that fits the traveler.

Why Roametry Exists
WE THOUGHT TRAVEL RECOMMENDATIONS COULD BE BETTER.
Most travel advice begins with the same questions: What’s trending? What are the “must-see” destinations? Where is everyone else going?
Roametry begins somewhere else.
We believe the better question is what kind of trip are you actually looking for?
The destination that works beautifully for one traveler may frustrate another. Pace, scenery, food, climate, crowds, transportation, activities, comfort and dozens of other details shape how a place actually feels once you’re there.
Roametry was built to bring those differences into the recommendation itself.
What Makes Roametry Different?
We don’t rank destinations. We look for fit.
Roametry combines traveler preferences with researched destination characteristics to identify places that align with the experience each traveler wants.
Instead of simply recommending somewhere because it is popular, beautiful or highly rated, we look at the characteristics that shape the trip—and where those characteristics intersect with the traveler.
The result is not just a list of places. It’s an explanation of why certain destinations make sense for you, where the tradeoffs are, and what alternatives may deserve a closer look.
Traveler-first
Recommendations begin with what matters to the person taking the trip.
Research-driven
Destinations are researched across multiple aspects of the travel experience.
Explainable
A recommendation should tell you why a destination fits—not just give you a score.
The Research Library
BUILT TO KEEP GROWING
Roametry’s destination research library is continually expanding. Each destination is evaluated across the characteristics that influence how a trip feels—from atmosphere and activities to climate, logistics, food, pace and more.
As the research catalog grows, so does Roametry’s ability to compare different kinds of destinations and surface matches a traveler may not have considered on their own.
